Plant in full coastal sun to light shade in a well-drained soil and irrigate occasionally. It should be cold hardy to about 25° F.

This hybrid was created by eminent southern California horticulturist Jack Catlin by crossing Aeonium undulatum with Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop'. Another Catlin hybrid that we grow with the same parentage is called Aeonium 'Voodoo'.. 'Cyclops' has the stronger green eye while 'Voodoo' tends to be more of a solid dark color and grows larger.  The information about Aeonium 'Cyclops' displayed on this page is based on research conducted in our nursery library and from online sources we consider reliable. We will also relate those observations made of this plant as it grows in our nursery gardens and in other gardens that we have visited, as well how the crops have performed in containers in our nursery field.
