From South Africa comes the nearly fabled yellow
clivia; an incredibly beautiful plant that San Marcos Growers
has been working to produce in quantity for many years! We have
seen the price of this plant as high as $1,500 each and only a few years ago noted in a mass mailing of a specialty plant catalog it was listed at $950 each.
After our rigorous 10 year breeding program involving 3 generations of selected clones, we are now producing yellow forms of Clivia miniata by seed propagation.
