I refer to this as Manny's joke for
Manual Morales. Manual is one of the owners of Monterey Bay Nursery and Joe
Solomone's son-in-law. Its unusual coloring was the result of the plant being
dried out and then immersed in a dye solution. There was a second plant on display
that had a most unusual green color - what a St. Patrick's Day surprise!
