Canna 'Lucifer' at San Marcos Growers |

A smaller Canna, only growing to 3 ft. tall with green,
somewhat corregated loooking foliage. The showy but not large flowers are red with a broad yellow edge and produce seeds. Canna 'Lucifer' produces clumps that are unusually dense, with numerous flower bearing stems. This cultivar is attributed to H. Faiss prior to 1968 but little has been regarding its origins. We have had several sports appear in our nursery and have named them 'Lucifer's Brother' (which we do not currently grow) and 'Lucifer's Sister'. Plant in a well amended soil and water regularly for optimum performance.
