Tara with Anisodontea 'Tara's Pink'

San Marcos Growers introduced two Anisodontea cultivars into the nursey trade in the early 1990's. The first we named 'Tara's Pink', pictured above, and the second we introduced as 'Tara's Wonder'. Both were spontaneous seedling hybrids that emerged in the garden were Tara, our Rhodesian Ridgeback, roamed. We continue to grow 'Tara's Pink' as we feel it the superior plant between of the two, but often note others growing 'Tara's Pink' labeled as 'Tara's Wonder'.
