Phormium 'Maori Maiden' shown here with Astelia cathamica 'Silver Spear' in the San Marcos Growers demonstration garden. This medium sized flax grows 2-3 feet tall with slightly arching 1 1/2 inch wide apricot to rose-red colored leaves with thin green margins. One of the most beautiful of the Flax if maintained. Remove any new shoots that don't have pink foliage. Best in light shade in Southern California.
