Heuchera 'Blushing Bells' (Blushing Bells Coral Bells) - A tight small evergreen perennial that forms a low-growing loose mat to 3 inches tall of 1 to 1 1/4-inch-wide dark green leaves with light pink flowers that rise up on 8 to 12 inches tall.
Plant in light shade with regular summer water - can be grown in full sun in coastal gardens. Cold hardy to 0° F. A showy small Coral Bells.
Plant in a part to fully shaded location - needs to be protected from hot sun. Irrigate regularly to occasionally in summer months. Cold hardy to 0° F. A nice smaller Coral Bells for a border planting or used in a trough or rock garden.
This Dara Emery hybrid was a cross between a Heuchera sanguinea introduced by the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden in 1989 as a sister seedling of Heuchera 'Dainty Bells'. It was listed as an F1 cross of Heuchera pringlei (which is now called Heuchera merriamii) with Heuchera sanguinea.
