Nepeta Assorted - This group of plants came from mixes in our Nepeta reichenbachiana crop and are likely seedlings of this plant. They are variable but likely to grow similarly to this species which is a small low-growing subshrub or perennial to 18 to 30 inches tall by up to 36 inches wide with broad, rounded, sage-green leaves. The lilac-blue flowers are held in 4-6 inch long clusters that rise above the foliage from mid-spring well into summer. Plant in almost any type of soil in full sun. It is hardy to 10-15 F.
The information that is presented on this page is based on research we have conducted about this plant in our library and from reliable online sources. We also consider observations we have made of it in the nursery's garden and in other gardens we have visited, as well how it performs in our nursery crops out in the field. We incorporate comments that we receive from others as well and welcome getting feedback from anyone who may have additional information, particularly if they know of cultural information that would aid others in growing Nepeta 'Assorted'. |
