Canna 'Herb's White' - Tuberous perennial. Full sun. Moderate water needs. White flower in summer-fall. Reaches 2 to 3 feet tall. Hardy to 0 degrees F. This Herb Kelly select seedling from Canna 'North Star' is a dwarf canna that grows to 2 to 3 feet tall and has flowers that emerge a pale yellow and age to white. A shorter plant than Canna 'New White'. We grew this plant from 1997 until 2004 when we replaced it with the taller cultivar 'New White'.
The information provided on this page is based on the research we have conducted about this plant in our nursery library, from what we have found about it on reliable online sources, as well as from observations of our nursery crops of this plant as well as of plants growing in the nursery's garden and those in other gardens. We also will incorporate comments received from others and welcome getting feedback from anyone who may have additional information, particularly if this information includes cultural information that would aid others in growing Canna 'Herb's White'. |
