Plant in full sun in most soils, providing they are well drained and irrigate occasionally although moderately drought resistant once established. Frost hardy to around 25° F. Will benefit from a hard pruning after peak flowering to keep plant more compact. A useful shrub in a range of positions throughout the garden and is good as a screen or a feature plant. Attracts nectar feeding birds.

Grevillea 'Sylvia' is a seedling of Grevillea 'Misty Pink' (a hybrid of G. banksii and G. sessilis) that exhibits all of the characteristics of its parent except that it has entirely pink flowers instead of the two-toned pink and white flowers of 'Misty Pink'.
