Bomarea multiflora (Vine Alstroemeria) - A delicate vine that is related to Alstromeria. The twining branches are lined with whorled leaves that have parallel veins. Orange flowers appear in spring. Plant in morning sun to light shade and irrigate regularly. Nice smaller vine with interesting foliage and flowers for a trellis or fence. Hardy and evergreen in near frost-free locations. Freezes to ground and rebounds in cooler locations. Root hardy to at least 20-25 F.
