Rosa 'Wickwar' (Wickwar Climber) - Rosa 'Wickwar' is sprawling large bush with a dense growth of grayish foliage and an abundance of tiny prickles. The medium sized (2" wide) creamy-white, single flowers are borne in clusters and followed by orange-yellow hips. Somewhat viney but can be trained as a shrub with support. Reportably tolerant of some shade and poor soils. Produced by Steadmanin the UK in 1960 as a hybrid of Rosa soulierana, which is a wild rose from China. USDA zones 4-10.
