Plant in full sun (coastal) or light shade, keeping soil moist when plants are in active growth. If possible, keep dry from fall through winter while plants are dormant. Can be lifted and replanted in early spring. While very attractive, this cultivar is disease susceptible and recommended for experienced growers. This plant makes a great cut flower and can be grown as a garden plant but seems best for container gardening in a larger container.

This is an F1 hybrid between the yellow flowering Zantedeschia elliotiana and the pink flowering Zantedeschia rehmanni as part of the Callafornia Calla® program from the now closed Brown Bulb Ranch. We grew this attractive plant from 2001 until 2008. These winter dormant Calla lilies with Zantedeschia elliotiana, Zantedeschia rehmanni and Zantedeschia pentandii parentage all seemed to resent our wet winter soils. We initially grew these parent species in the 1990s but moved on to growing the hybrids by 1992. They were good looking plants in their first years when we sold them, but we stopped growing all of these hybrids by 2008 because, like the parent species, they were not sustainable in our gardens without the corms being lifted.
