Morus alba 'Chaparral' (Cutleaf Weeping Mulberry) - This is a weeping fruitless mulberry with branches that droop all the way to the ground forming a graceful silhouette 8-12 ft. tall and 15 ft. wide. The leaves are deeply cut and dark green turning yellow in the fall. This deciduous tree is beautiful in the winter garden. This is such an unusual plant we had to find a place to plant one in the garden - you should too! It is hardy well below 0 °F (USDA Zone 5 and warmer Zone 4). We grew this plant from 2000 until 2005 and, except for the plant in the ground, no longer have it in the nursery.
