Nymphaea 'Wood's Blue Goddess' (Aquatic) (Tropical Waterlily) - This very unique waterlily features large, sky blue flowers with almost black stamens. It produces olive-green leaves with the underside purple-blue. It was voted the most outstanding tropical waterlily when it was introduced at the 1987 International Waterlily Society Symposium. It spreads to about 6 to 8 feet wide. Although waterlilies perform best in full sun, 'Dauben' has been noted for tolerating as few as two hours of sun. Not too cold hardy. Tropical waterlilies will suffer when water temperatures drop below 41° F. Prefers 64°-95° F for optimum growth.
