Vallisneria gigantea (Aquatic) (Giant Eel Grass) - This aquatic species from the Philippines grows longer and wider than V. spiralis. It takes full sun/Light shade and will grow to about 4-6' tall. It must be planted under water 1' to 6' deep. It is hardywhere pond water does not freeze solid.
