Nymphaea 'Comanche' (Aquatic) (Hardy Waterlily) - A very free flowering variety. Flowers are5 to 6 inches across and change colors as they mature. First they are a peachy yellow (apricot) color and then turn to coppery orange (bronze). New pads are purplish and older leaves turn green with purple speckles. It can spread 4-5 feet across. This strikingly beautiful waterlily prefers full sun but can continue to flower in partial shade. Cold hardy to 15 degrees F. Hybridized in 1908 by Latour-Marliac. Pineapple rhizome.
