Tree in Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden in Santa Barbara
A large evergreen shrub or small tree that grows 15-20 feet tall. It hails from Mexico down into South America. The bright green leaves are divided into 5-13 toothed leaflets and make a nice foil to the large clusters of yellow bell-shaped flowers with flared wavy mouths that bloom in the summer and fall Requires full sun and occasional watering. We appreciate seeing this plant in bloom, but not longer grow it.
