Canna 'Erebus' - This tuberous perennial performs best in full sun receiving regular water. Salmon pink flowers occur from summer into fall. Reaches 3 to 4 feet tall with lance-shaped, glaucus green leaves and medium-sized salmon-pink flowers. 'Erebus' is one of four hybrids bred at Longwood Gardens for use in water gardens and grows shorter and more compact than other Longwood cannas. Ideally suited for use in average garden soil or in the pond with no more than 4 to 6 inches of water above the soil line. Cold hardy to 0 degrees F.
The description above is based on our research and observations of this plant growing in our nursery and in our own and other Santa Barbara gardens. We would appreciate hearing from anyone who has additional information or disagrees with what we have written.
