Erigeron glaucus 'Cape Sebastian' (Seaside Daisy) - This is a low growing ( 4 to 6 inches) form of Erigeron glaucus that spreads 2-3 feet. Lavender daisy blooms with yellow centers cover the plant profusely in the spring through summer. It does its best in part sun or light shade with occasional watering, and is hardy below 15 degrees F. This selection of the west coast native seaside daisy is from Oregon.  The description above is based on our research and observations of this plant growing in our nursery, in our own garden and in other gardens in the Santa Barbara area. We would appreciate hearing from anyone who has additional information about this plant, even if they disagree with what we have written.
