Eucalyptus pulverulenta 'Baby Blue' (Florist Silver Dollar) - The bluish-grey kabob-style foliage makes this Eucalyptus popular in flower arrangements. In the garden it is a sprawling shrub that can reach 25 feet tall. Occasional pruning is recommended to direct the plant's form and to encourage the decorative new foliage. It produces creamy-white flowers in the fall and spring. It is hardy to about 15 to 20 degrees F.
The description above is based on our research and observations of this plant growing in our nursery, in our own garden and in other gardens in the Santa Barbara area. We would appreciate hearing from anyone who has additional information about this plant, even if they disagree with what we have written.
