This planting features Phormium 'Maori Maiden' in the foreground with Astelia cathamica behind flanked by Phormium Dazzler on the right and Phormium 'Dark Delight' on the left below a Silver Tree (Leucadendron argentea). Much of this section of the garden has been replaced due to the hard frost of 1990. The Silver Tree has been replaced with a Butia capitata and the Astelia and Phormium planter is now a pathway.
